Student Services
Trio/Student Support Services Program: (link)
Provides on-campus group and peer tutoring, workshops, computer-aided instruction and individual counseling. In addition, Trio schedules visits to four year colleges and universities for students interested in transferring to pursue additional coursework beyond Ozarka. Cultural events are also offered through this federally-funded program.
Academic Advising:
Ozarka faculty members serve in an advisory capacity to students by providing information about their area of expertise. Advisors serve as a source of information and guidance, not replacing or assuming the student's responsibility to manage his/her own degree plan. Advisors are generally assigned for students by the counselor's office.
Disability Services
The Vice President of Student Services serves as Ozarka College's coordinator for Disability Services. Students interested in the academic and auxiliary services available (as mandated in Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990) should make an appointment with the VPSS's office. Please call (870)368-2027 for more details.
