Ash Flat Campus Hosts Forestry Field Day

Ash Flat campus recently hosted the Sharp County Conservation District's Forestry Field Day, on Tuesday, July 27. Cynthia Binder, district secretary, discussed the natural resource conservation services available. Such services include EQIP -Environmental Quality Incentive Program, CSP -Conservation Stewardship Program, and MRBI - Mississippi River Basin Initiative Environmental Quality Incentive program. Programs are available to landowners located within these three sub-watersheds located in the Strawberry River Watershed:  Whaley Creek, Fool Creek, and Hamilton Branch. 

Any member of the community can stop by the Sharp County Conservation District office located at 21 C Court Road in Ash Flat, Arkansas to discuss signing up for one of these program offerings.
