Ozarka College Recognized as a Top LPN Program in Arkansas

Ozarka College is proud to announce its Practical Nursing program has been ranked among the Top LPN Programs in the Nation and named #3 in Arkansas for overall value and quality. The national ranking evaluated institutions on affordability, academic strength, program flexibility, and student support.

Ozarka's Practical Nursing program was recognized for its flexible online access to prerequisite courses, allowing students to prepare for program entry in a way that supports their schedules, families, and career goals. The program's intentionally limited cohort size per class offers a more personalized learning environment, strengthening student–faculty engagement and enhancing clinical readiness.

In addition, the program is approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing, ensuring that graduates meet state standards for licensure eligibility and enter the workforce prepared to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. EduMed noted that this level of academic rigor, combined with strong support systems, positions Ozarka students for success both during their studies and throughout their nursing careers.
