Ozarka College has launched a new initiative that will provide incoming students from the area with debt-free pathways to an Ozarka college degree. Named the Ozarka Opportunity, the program officially launches in August for fall 2024 and will be available as an opt-in scholarship for incoming Ozarka students who graduated from high school in the College's four-county service area (Fulton, Izard, Sharp, and Stone).
"We are proud to offer this transformational scholarship program to our students ", said Dr. Richard Dawe, Ozarka College president. "Ozarka continues to find ways to eliminate financial barriers and increase our students' capacity to succeed. Through education, we empower individuals in our region and the Ozarka Opportunity is another investment in our students and local communities. "
The Ozarka Opportunity is made possible through a prioritization of scholarship aid and a partnership with the Ozarka College Foundation. This will ensure all students maximize available aid at the state and federal levels, making efficient use of all financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
