Arkansas Division of Higher Education Commissioner, Dr. Ken Warden, will address Ozarka College graduates during the 2025 Commencement Ceremony. Ozarka's Commencement will take place on Thursday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the John E. Miller Education Complex in Melbourne, Arkansas.
"We are very fortunate to have Dr. Warden deliver our commencement address this year, " said Dr. Josh Wilson, Ozarka College president. "He has been very supportive of Ozarka College and Arkansas education. It is a great honor to have such a respected member of our community to address our graduates."
Dr. Warden has been serving in the role of Commissioner since June 1, 2023. He has extensive experience in the education field, having worked in adult education, two-year colleges, and university systems. His prior roles include the Associate Vice Chancellor for Compliance and Legislative Affairs, Dean of the College of Applied Science and Technology, and Associate Vice Chancellor for Workforce Development at University of Arkansas – Fort Smith. Dr. Warden also served as the Department Chair of Automotive Service Technology, Business and Industry Coordinator, and Chief Officer of Business and Community Outreach at Arkansas Tech University – Ozark.
The administration, faculty, and staff welcome Dr. Warden and are proud to celebrate the hard work demonstrated by the 2025 graduates of Ozarka College.
