Staying consistent with the guidance provided by the Governor of Arkansas and CDC guidance, effective February 2, 2022 Ozarka will return to masking optional. Please see the below COVID guidelines Ozarka College will be following. 

Positive COVID Test – everyone

• Isolate for five days
• If you are asymptomatic or symptoms are resolving (without fever for 24 hours) wear a mask when around others for an additional 5 days and return to work

 Exposure – everyone

• There is no quarantine period for exposure
• If you have been exposed and have developed symptoms, employees will need to be tested

As a reminder, the Human Resources Office, Vice President of Student Services, Campus Directors have COVID tests available for employees and students upon request.

The College administration will continue to closely monitor local infection rates among other state and local data. Ozarka will adjust protocols in accordance with COVID indicators.
