Ozarka College is proud to recognize April Killian, Director of Development, for her recent graduation from the Arkansas Community Colleges (ACC) Leadership Institute. The ceremony took place during the 2025 ACC Annual Conference, where higher education professionals from across the state gathered to celebrate leadership, collaboration, and excellence within Arkansas's two-year college system.
The ACC Leadership Institute is a year-long professional development program designed to prepare future leaders within Arkansas's community colleges. Participants engage in sessions focused on leadership styles, communication, policy, and strategic planning, gaining insight into the challenges and opportunities facing higher education today. April's completion of this program reflects her continued dedication to professional growth and to advancing Ozarka College's mission of student success and development.
"April's commitment to learning, collaboration, and leadership exemplifies what the ACC Leadership Institute represents," said Dr. Josh Wilson, Ozarka College President. "Her drive and professionalism have a lasting impact on both our students and our college community." Ozarka College congratulates April on this outstanding accomplishment and celebrates her continued efforts to strengthen education across the region.
