Ozarka College is proud to announce Angela Moore of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas, as the 2025 Academic All-Star. Moore was recently honored as Ozarka's All-Star at the annual Arkansas Community College conference in Hot Springs.
Each year, Ozarka selects one outstanding student to represent the institution through the Arkansas Community Colleges Academic All-Star Program, which recognizes exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and service within both the College and the community.
Moore is pursuing her Associate of Science in Education degree. Her goals include creating a positive and engaging learning environment for future students. Moore's dedication is seen through her work as a Special Education paraprofessional and her assistance with the Special Olympics. "She is the kind of student who seeks out opportunities to contribute meaningfully and supports those around her with kindness and integrity," shared Jill Sandlin, Ozarka College instructor.
Zeda Wilkerson, Vice President of Student Services, added, "Angela's work ethic, passion for making a positive impact, and stellar academics made her an excellent choice for our Academic All-Star." The Arkansas Community Colleges Academic All-Star Program honors one student from each of the state's two-year colleges for their academic success, leadership, and community service. Ozarka College congratulates Angela on this well-deserved achievement and looks forward to seeing the continued impact she will make in the future.
