Key Job Responsibilities

As our Recruitment Specialist, you are the first point of contact for prospective students on the Melbourne campus. Reporting to the Director Enrollment Services, you will:

• Walk students through the admissions maze—from their first inquiry to registration and testing.
• Help lead high-impact events like New Student Orientation and campus visits.
• Support student engagement activities and promote scholarship opportunities to make college affordable.
• Become an expert on financial aid, program requirements, and college resources to provide top-tier advice.
• On occasion, represent Ozarka at high schools, workshops, and community events. If there’s a crowd, you’re there sharing the Ozarka story.

Who You Are/Minimum Qualifications Expected

• An Associate degree is required (Bachelor’s preferred). Bonus points if your degree is in Marketing, Communications, PR, or Business.
• A background in Higher Ed, Admissions, or Communications is a huge plus.
• You’re an energetic self-starter who can work independently but thrives in a team. You’re organized, tech-savvy, and a natural communicator.
• You have a genuine commitment to the "two-year college philosophy" and helping our community grow.

• Location: Primarily based in Melbourne, AR (covering all Ozarka locations).
