Part Time Administrative Specialist for Mountain View Tech Center

Ozarka College is seeking applications for a part time Administrative Specialist for the Mountain View Tech Center campus.  The part time Administrative Specialist for Mountain View Tech Center, acting under the direction of the Director of Technical Centers, is responsible for providing current and prospective students with quality support services to help them obtain their education goals.  This position requires attention to detail, high energy, and willingness to accept responsibility.

This is a part time position requiring a flexible schedule Monday thru Thursday. 

Position Specific:

  • The part time Administrative Specialist is accountable for providing administrative support at the Mountain View Tech Center campus to both students and faculty.
  • This position assists with student applications and refer students to the right location on financial aid and student services.
  • Greeting and assisting visitors.
  • Supply quality control and efficiency for daily operations such as collecting and distributing mail.
  • Maintains various computerized and paper files, records, and logs.
  • Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Technical Centers.
  • Represent Ozarka College in a positive manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education equivalent of a high school diploma. Plus 1 year of clerical experience.
  • Computer skills in basic office software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and use good organizational skills to take initiative and coordinate daily workload.
  • Proven interpersonal skills both written and verbal to promote understanding, respect for others, and clear articulation of the college mission.
  • Commitment to personal integrity in all working relationships with others.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the responsibilities and skill required to fulfill the position responsibilities.
