Career Opportunities

Director of Enrollment Services

Are you a dynamic leader ready to drive institutional growth and transform lives? Ozarka College is looking for a high-energy, visionary Director of Enrollment Services to join our leadership team!

Reporting directly to the Provost, you won't just be managing departments—you’ll influence the trajectory of the student journey. As a key strategic leader, you will:

  • Lead the Charge: Supervise and inspire teams in Admissions and Financial Aid.
  • Empower the Next Generation: Oversee the Career Coach Program, bridging the gap between education and ambition.
  • Build Connections: Act as the vital Concurrent Credit Liaison, fostering critical relationships with our community high school partners.

While your home base will be the main campus in Melbourne, your influence will span the region as you travel to our various campuses across the entire Ozarka network. If you’re a motivator with a passion for enrollment strategy and student achievement, we want to hear from you!

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Guide our students’ journey, turning initial inquiries into inspired futures through sleek communication and proactive outreach.
  • Inspire and mentor our Admissions and Financial Aid teams to deliver impactful moments for our students, ensuring each of them feels supported from day one.
  • Take the lead on the Career Coach Program, working hand-in-hand with Academics to help high schoolers turn their passions into viable career paths.
  • Become the "go-to" partner for local high school counselors and faculty, acting as the primary bridge for both concurrent and traditional enrollment growth.
  • Represent the college at high schools, workshops, and community events. You aren't just giving a speech; you’re selling a life-changing opportunity.
  • From the first inquiry to the first day of class, you’ll guide students through the enrollment maze and host high-energy campus visits that leave a lasting impression.
  • Partner directly with the Provost to design and deploy the college’s master recruitment plan. Your ideas will directly shape our growth.
  • Collaborate on high-impact events like Orientation and Registration, ensuring the "Ozarka Welcome" is seamless and exciting.
  • Work with our PR/Marketing pros to dream up recruitment materials that actually get noticed and spark action.
  • Help make college affordable by promoting scholarships, serving on the selection committee, and streamlining the path to financial aid.
  • Hit the open road btraveling throughout our service area to meet students where they are.

Who You Are/Minimum Qualifications Expected

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a background in Education, Marketing, PR, Communications, or Business—fields where you’ve learned how to move people and ideas. Bonus points if you have a Master’s degree in any of these fields.
  • You bring at least two years of experience in PR, communications, or a related field. If you’ve already spent time in the world of Admissions, Recruiting, or Financial Aid, you’re already a step ahead!
  • You possess top-tier interpersonal skills and can write a compelling email as easily as you can navigate student database software.
  • You don't just "manage"—you build teams. You are committed to professional growth, organizational excellence, and the art of the "win-win."
  • Whether you’re chatting with a nervous high school senior, a busy faculty member, or a local school administrator, you know how to speak their language and build trust.
  • You have high-octane energy. You don't wait for a "to-do" list; you see a goal and run toward it with total independence and responsibility.
  • You’ve got your playlist ready and your bags packed! You’re excited to be out in the community, traveling across our four-county service area to bring the Ozarka mission to life.

Employment offers are contingent upon the successful completion and satisfactory results of the background check including a registered sex offender check.

Deadline for submitting applications will be Wednesday, February 25, 2026.  The position will remain open until a qualified applicant has been selected.  To apply, submit a detailed letter of application, Ozarka Employment Application, resume, unofficial copies of transcripts and names, addresses, and phone numbers of three professional references.
