Ozarka College will host the Melbourne Fly-In on March 10, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This event will take place at the Melbourne Airport (42A) and is free to attend. Bring the family to enjoy a day of fun with food and airplanes.
A pancake breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m. and grilled burgers and hotdogs will be available around 12:30 p.m. A suggested donation of $7 per person is much appreciated; all proceeds will help support the Ozarka College Aviation Alumni Club. Pilots from all over will be flying in to participate in a preventative maintenance seminar that begins at 10:15 a.m. Then there'll be a bag-o tournament, landing competition, bake sale and pie auction, and a flour toss.
Explore vintage airplanes, meet with pilots, learn more about the Ozarka College Aviation program, and much more. Thirty-minute discovery flights will be available for $75; up to three persons may fly together (weight restrictions apply). Should there be inclement weather, announcements will be made on local radio stations and on Ozarka's social media accounts regarding a rain date of March 24. For more information, please contact John, Tim, or Kelly with the Ozarka College Aviation program at 870.368.7926.
