Ozarka College in Ash Flat, Arkansas will host another six-week series of Beginning Yoga through the continuing education program. Returning and new students alike are encouraged to participate! The classes will meet for one hour on Thursdays from March 22 through April 26 in room AF109. There will be two sessions available; Session A will begin at 4:30 p.m. and Session B will begin at 5:45 p.m. Classes are also available in Melbourne on Mondays, beginning on March 5.
The classes will be led by Dr. Deltha Sharp, who has been practicing yoga for over five years and recently completed a certified yoga teacher-training program. "The beginning yoga class will offer an opportunity for people of all ages and capabilities to improve their range of motion by focusing on movement, breath, and flexibility, " commented Sharp. "This practice is perfect for students who are new to yoga and want to learn the basics or for those who want to improve their personal practice. The class is structured in such a way that no yoga experience is necessary. "
The cost is $45.00 for the six-week series and pre-registration is required. Students ages 60 and over will receive a 20% discount when registering. Participants should bring their own yoga mat for this course. For more information or to register, please contact Fay Mitchell by calling 870.368.2005 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
