Ozarka College is proud to announce that Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) student Daniel Nanney has been named a 2026 Chime Workforce Scholar, joining 200 students nationwide recognized for their academic achievement and commitment to career-focused education.
Nanney is currently pursuing his LPN education at the Ozarka College Ash Flat campus, where he is preparing for a career in nursing and the healthcare workforce.
"Daniel's selection as a Chime Workforce Scholar is a well-deserved recognition of his hard work and commitment to serving others through nursing," said Dr. Josh Wilson, Ozarka president. "We are proud of Daniel and excited to see him continue preparing for a meaningful career in healthcare."
The Chime Workforce Scholarship is funded by the Chime Scholars Foundation and administered by the Phi Theta Kappa Foundation. The scholarship supports students pursuing career and technical education at two-year colleges and recognizes those working toward credentials that prepare them to enter high-demand fields.
As a 2026 Chime Workforce Scholar, Nanney will receive a $1,000 scholarship to help cover educational expenses as he continues working toward completion of his LPN program.
Ozarka College congratulates Nanney on this national recognition and celebrates his dedication to his education and future career in healthcare.
