Licensed Practical Nursing students recently participated in an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) class conducted by Air Evac to obtain their ACLS Certification. The course was completed by 6 students who earned their certifications.

Students who attended gained a wealth of information about awareness, detection, and prevention of common health complications. Students also took part in advanced skills such as how to perform in a code situation where medications are administered, and when the patient is intubated. Students also learned about services available to them and viewed the helicopter air ambulance up close and personal.
