What:
Ozarka College Adult Education will participate in "Arkansas' Night In ", to raise awareness about adult education programs and the success of those who have completed a program. Students and graduates of Adult Education programs will share their stories of success. Come by and check out your local Adult Education and GED Testing Center. Refreshments will be provided and door prizes will be given away.

Why:
More than 36 million American adults struggle to read, write, do math, and use technology above a third grade level. In Arkansas, 528,611 or 18% of the population need Adult Education and training. Adult education graduates are more likely to be employed full-time and minimum wage workers increased wages by 18 to 25 percent within 18 months of exiting an adult education program.
