MELBOURNE, AR (August 31, 2018) - Justin Scheel of Highland, Arkansas, has officially passed his Private Pilot Checkride! Scheel plans on becoming a CFI so that he can obtain enough hours to fly for a large company such as UPS or Fed Ex. When asked about what it was like passing his checkride, Justin said, "It was a challenging experience that really tested my knowledge as a pilot, and it was an awesome feeling to pass. " His instructor, John Catlett, said, "Justin has worked very hard to obtain his private pilot's license. I have no doubt he will obtain his commercial multi-rating. " Scheel will be continuing his training with Ozarka's aviation program this fall while pursuing his Associates of Applied Science - Commercial Pilot Degree.
Upon completion of Ozarka's FAA approved Part 141 flight school, students have the opportunity to complete the multi-engine commercial training at Ozarka College.
