Free Cybersecurity Awareness Classes available at Ozarka College - Ash Flat

In conjunction with Cyber Security Awareness Month, Ozarka College in Ash Flat, Arkansas will host cybersecurity awareness classes through Continuing Education during the month of October. Classes will be free to attend and are being taught by Ken Barton, Ozarka College's information science technology program coordinator/faculty.

Barton will cover a different topic each week, enabling participants to attend one class or all of them. The schedule of topics to be covered is as follows: Simple Steps to Online Safety, on October 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; Cybersecurity in the Workplace is Everyone's Business, on October 10 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Today's Predictions for Tomorrow's Internet, on October 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; The Internet Wants YOU: Consider a Career in Cybersecurity, on October 24 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
