Information Science Technology Program at Ozarka College is Accepting Students

Published on April 26, 2017

The Ozarka College Information Science Technology program, where classes are primarily offered at Ozarka College - Ash Flat, is currently accepting applications for new students. Once a student has completed the admissions application, they may register for summer and fall 2017 courses. Assistance applying for financial aid is also available at any of Ozarka College's four campus locations in Melbourne, Ash Flat, Mammoth Spring or Mountain View. Students may also register for courses online through myOzarka at www.ozarka.edu.

Information Technology is a driving force in our society, and we are dependent on those who create and support our electronics and information systems. Ozarka College offers a technical certificate, as well as a certificate of proficiency in information science technology. Upon completion of the technical certificate, graduates will be able to perform basic computer programming, design a web page, perform JavaScript programming, set up a basic local area network, design and manage a database, ensure security on computers and networks, use computer applications software, diagnose and repair computer hardware, and be prepared to test for Comp TIA A+ and Network+ certifications.

For more information about the Information Science Technology program, please contact Rylie Bevill, Ozarka College associate director of admissions, by calling 870.368.2024 or e-mail: admissions@ozarka.edu.
