Published on December 3, 2014

Dr. Richard Dawe, President of Ozarka College, has accepted an invitation to serve as an advisory board member on the Graduate Advisory Board for Engineering, Aviation and Technology at Saint Louis University's (SLU) Parks College.   Parks College educates graduate students to become leaders in the fields of aviation, engineering and technology.

Dr. Dawe is a 2000 graduate of Saint Louis University, earning his Ph.D. in Public Policy Analysis and Administration. SLU's College of Education and Public Service honored him in 2010 as their Distinguished Ph.D. alumni award recipient.

Dr. Dawe's service on the Parks College Graduate Advising Board is sure to be beneficial to the success and development of Ozarka College's aviation program.

Ozarka College will begin offering an Associate of Science degree in Professional Pilot-Aviation during the fall semester of 2015.   Students will have less than five miles to commute from the Ozarka College campus in Melbourne to the John E. Miller Airport where they will establish flight side training.
